Hi, I'm Joy!
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) providing individual therapy here in Austin. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Masters in Social Work.

I have provided therapy services to people who have experienced trauma primarily from violence and/or abuse. I have supported clients through a variety of mental health issues, trauma, and life stressors. I have provided individual and group therapy to children, youth, and adults of all ages
How I Help
In my work I strive to create a safe, accepting, and non-judgmental space for clients to process and share life experiences. I use a strengths-based and collaborative approach to empower clients in their processing and healing journeys. Whether that journey is learning new healthy coping strategies, exploring past trauma, navigating stressors and issues in day to day life, or all of the above, we will work together.

More About Me
When I’m not working, I enjoy exploring Austin in my search for all the best horchata places. I love spending time with family, friends, my partner, and our two dogs, Tripp and Andy. I enjoy being outside, especially visiting National/State Parks in our converted campervan, Tank, or just sitting at home reading a book or watching Netflix.
