Hi, I'm Katelyn!
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) working as a psychotherapist in Austin, Texas.
I hold experience within both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings. I have provided group and individual therapy to persons suffering from various levels of mental health issues including but not limited to, depression, suicidal ideations, anxiety, mania, mood disturbance, and psychosis.

Reaching out for help is a commendable strength that takes a lot of courage. I understand therapy as a journey unique to each individual and am committed to walking alongside each client towards peace and healing.
How I Help
I use a psychodynamic person-centered relational approach valuing the unique needs and desires of each client. I strive to foster a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients to share their own perspectives and emotions surrounding their past and present life experiences while also identifying, exploring, and challenging self-defeating beliefs. I also consider how multiple systems of oppression and structural inequalities impact my clients' wellbeing and the concerns they bring forth.
